Fulvio Fiorio _ flutist

Fulvio Fiorio was musically trained by Maestro Massimo Mercelli.

Graduated several times in Italy and abroad, he studied with the masters:

Maxence Larrieu, Angelo Persichilli, Alain Marion, Peter Lukas Graf,

Glauco Cambursano, Rien De Reede, Conrad Klemm, Aurele Nicolet,

Mario Ancillotti, Pier Narciso Masi.

He studied conducting with the masters Piero Bellugi and Massimo De

Bernart.

Winner of the first absolute prizes in International Competitions, in 1991

he was awarded the European Scholarship “Yamaha Music Foundation of

Europe” for wind instruments.

He is first flute and soloist with Italian and European orchestras:

L.Nucci, D.Korchak, A.Concetti, J.Pratt, H.Torosian, M.Freni, R.Kabaivanska, M.Devia,

S.Bonfadelli and with the artists Elena Bucci, Catherine Spaak and Moni Ovadia.

From 2001 to 2003 he was first flute of the Turin Symphony Orchestra at the "Pavarotti and

Friends" in Modena and Malaysia. He plays in international festivals: Festival Pontino in

Sermoneta, I Concerti del Gonfalone in Rome, Rivista Amadeus in Milan, Amici della Musica in

Ancona, Settimane Musicali G.Mahler in Dobbiaco, Ravello Festival, Innsbrucker

PromenadeKonzerte, Richard Strauss Istitute, Fête de la Musique Haute-Savoie, Deutsche Oper

Berlin, Teatro Arriaga Bilbao, Lubjana-Festival, Accademia Musicale in Sarajevo. Recorded CD for

AULIA, Rai-Trade, Tactus, RAI Radio3, FalautCollection, SMC Records, Stradivarius.

Invited as first flute by the Raffaello Orchestra of Pesaro, in 2023 he toured across China

performing in the most prestigious Opera and Symphonic theaters.

In 2024 with the Orchestra La Corelli he performed as first flute at the Royal Opera House Muscat

and as soloist in the Concerto in E minor by S.Mercadante.

He was recently first flute with the Orchestra Associazione Mozart conducted by Maestro S.Pecci in

the Chinese tour, performing in the theaters of Shanghai, Beijing, Nanjing, Yiwu, Chunzhou.

Since 2023 he has been artistic director of the musical season "Music, Colors and Words" which

takes place at the Teatro Condominale "La Fortuna" in Monte San Vito (AN), a UNESCO heritage

site.

Invited to the jury in important national and international competitions, symposiums and masters,

he carries out his teaching activity at the "G.Rossini" Conservatory of Pesaro and at

ImolaMasterFlute of Imola.
