Steps for stays under 180 days (one semester)

 

• Ask for visa in your country well in advance to come to Spain

• If you get visa, check if they give you a NIE (Spanish identification number)

  • if you have NIE:

  • if you don’t have NIE:

    • Police appointment: Link.  Tutorial

• Taxes (around 10€). Fill in online, print it and take it to pay in a ABANCA office before going to the police appointment. Link. Tutorial.

• ex-15 Link. Fill in and print. Take it to the police appointment. Tutorial.

Requirements:

• proof of studies in Spain (enrolment certificate at CSMVigo)

• Vigo address - RENTAL AGREEMENT DOCUMENT

 

Steps for stays over 180 days, TIE

• Ask for visa in your country well in advance to come to Spain. They will give you a Spanish identification number NIE

• Get the TIE: Spanish identification card

  • Police appointment. link. Tutorial

  • Taxes. (around 16€). Fill in online, print it and take it to pay in a ABANCA office before going to the police appointment.. Link. Tutorial.

  • ex-17 form. Fill in and print. Take it to the police appointment. Link. Tutorial
